Nice to meet you, Fernanda!

I was born in Curitiba, Brazil, and I have always enjoyed traveling, observing and then immersing myself in the local culture. Life brought me to Portugal almost 20 years ago. Curiosity has always accompanied me, guiding me like a good listener to the village's oldest residents.

 

After attending some geotourism and local history courses, learning more about nature and native vegetation, shapes and relief, I understood that the history contained in books only makes sense when intertwined with the residents' experiences.

 

Deep Algarve is an initiative that emerged to support the restoration and revitalization of local ecosystems and communities and leave a positive and lasting impact. Through regenerative tourism, we seek to plant the seeds of environmental, cultural and economic regeneration, benefiting both visitors and hosts.

 

The invitation to people who are passionate about travel and memories, like me, is to seek together practices that promote the expansion of our views, presenting this picturesque village in the Algarve and sowing respect and love for this land and nature.
